“Guitarize the World” brings the extraordinary success story of genre-crossing guitar duo Café del Mundo together on one album for the first time, featuring a selection of their captivating arrangements from classical music, film scores and pop that have thrilled audiences around the world during their spectacular live performances.

Recorded at legendary studios such as Abbey Road and in collaboration with renowned ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, “Guitarize the World” presents the duo’s unmistakable sound across more than 20 tracks. From intimate guitar miniatures to opulent orchestral arrangements, the album includes original compositions such as “Dance of Joy”, “Space Gitanos” and “Smile”, adaptations of classical works including “Clair de Lune” and “Air on a G-String”, arrangements of film music from “Interstellar”, “Cinema Paradiso” and “Forrest Gump”, as well as powerful interpretations of pop anthems such as “Viva la Vida”, “With or Without You” and “Smooth Criminal”. The album also exclusively features an arrangement of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 for two guitars.

The limited 2-CD edition includes the 20 tracks from the album as well as the bonus CD “80s Unplugged”, featuring 13 guitar arrangements of legendary 1980s classics, including “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”, “Time After Time” and “I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For”.

In March 2026, Café del Mundo will embark on a major Germany tour with "GuitaRevolution Symphonic". From Hamburg to Munich, the two guitarists will present their new album in 14 hand-picked concert halls. Accompanied by the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt – a renowned orchestra that regularly collaborates with international music acts such as Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, David Garrett, and Robbie Williams – Alex and Jan will perform a globally unique crossover concert. The program includes original compositions, classics like the Adagio from the Aranjuez Concerto, and major rock & pop hits, lovingly arranged in Café del Mundo’s unmistakable guitar sound.
